From 30 January to 4 February 2010, eight (8) male and eight (8) female Korean korfball players participated in a training camp at the National Taipei University of Education (NTUE) in Chinese Taipei.

This event was made possible with the support of the Chinese Taipei Korfball Association.

The Korean players received on average fourt (4) hours of training per day in sessions conducted by Prof. Inglish Ying-Che Huang, IKF Regional Vice President for Asia. Prof. Inglish was ably assisted by current players of NTUE varsity team.

On 4 February, the Korean team also played an international match against the varsity team of Taipei Municipal Wanfang High School. 
   
This international training event was important preparation for Korea’s national team which will be participating in the upcoming 2010 IKF Asia Oceania Korfball Championship.
 
The 2010 IKF Asia Oceania Korfball Championship will take place in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province in China from 4 to 10 April 2010 and teams from all over Asia and Oceania will compete to qualify for the 2011 IKF World Championship which will be held in China as well.
