At the 2009 Korfball Challenge, which is due to start later today, the new Center Court Shot Clock will be tested. The Center Court Shot Clock counts down using green, yellow and red lights and is a part of the post. The idea is that it is now clearly visible for all attacking players when the 25 seconds are about the expire. If the tests run well, further testing will be conducted in the Spring of 2010, and potentially the clock may be used at the 2010 IKF European Championship.
