Portugal and Catalonia changed places in the most recent IKF World Ranking, while no other changes took place in the top 10.
The Netherlands is still leading firmly, while Belgium managed to extend their lead over Chinese Taipei.
The IKF will issue two further official world rankings this year. The next ranking will be released following the European Bowl competition where many new member countries will be able to collect points. At the end of this year, the formal ranking at 1 January 2010 will be announced. This ranking will be used as a basis to compose the pools at the 2010 continental championships in Europe and Asia/Oceania.
